Seasoned Hard Pretzels

2 bags wege broken hard pretzels
3/4 c. oil
1 env. of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
Dill weed


In a large tightly sealed plastic container, break up pretzels (roughly 3 pieces per pretzel) and toss in oil. Let soak 5 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle in Ranch dressing and dill weed, toss and let stand 5 to 10 minutes.

Bake on cookie sheets at 325 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool and serve. Store in Tupperware type container to keep fresh.



Hard Pretzel Party Mix

1 box or lg. bag Snyder pretzels
1/4 c. oil
Dill weed
Garlic powder
Basil
1 pkg. Ranch seasoning mix, dry


Break pretzels in bowl. Brush oil on pretzels. Stir to coat pretzels. Sprinkle ranch dressing, dill weed, garlic powder and basil, mixing well. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or leave in covered bowl overnight.



Simple Stained Glass Tree Ornaments

1 bag looped pretzels
Assorted hard candies
Curling ribbon for hanging


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place pretzels on cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil. Place hard candy in Baggies and crush with hammer into coarse pieces. Fill the bottom 2 loops of each pretzel with candy pieces. Bake until candy is melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.

When candy is cool, peel carefully from aluminum foil and break off any candy that has leaked out of the loops. Thread a piece of ribbon through the top loop of the pretzel and hang ornaments on the tree.
